BMX Demo Last Saturday

Filed under: Extreme Sports,Personal,Sports World,Travelling Me — Sparkle @ 3:47 pm, June 1, 2010.

Last Saturday, I was trying to catch the moment that I was so excited of. My online buddies told me that they were about to have a demo in a spot nearest to our place. I tried to be there on the place and luckily I was able to see them live. But I was still boarding a jeepney that time because my primary cause for being there was to go to the mall since I have to buy sometime very important. After I finished my purchase I went running towards the spot where I saw them an hour ago. But, I was too late to make it and there were no one out there. I was kinda feeling so downed and sad but still I was lucky to see them doing their bike tricks live, though it was too short or should I say sneak peek of the whole show.

They Invited Me for a Rider’s Meet

I just visited the Cebu BMX forum on istorya.net and a surprising new post set me up on a very shocking moment. I was invited to attend the bikers meet possibly happening this next week. I don’t know what to do but he just told me to bring whatever bike I have. But I was feeling kinda scared with a bit of shame because I don’t really have a good bike since I am still building it right now. I don’t know what to do with this but I hope I could fix my mountain bike as soon as possible, just to be presentable. These people owns top of the line bikes which in fact is packed with imported parts. I just hope that I could bear some confidence to bring up my nasty bike on the spot. Well, they said it that I could bring any type of bike, so be it.

The Dream of My Co-Local Riders

Filed under: Extreme Sports,My Facebook,Personal,Relationships,Sports World — Sparkle @ 10:21 pm, May 25, 2010.

Back to the extreme world that I always want to dare. I felt sympathy together with the local rider in our town. Most of them were trying to find a better spots wherein they could enjoy riding with their bikes but according to them there were no budgets intended for such sports. Most of the riders that I know seeks for sponsors but can’t find even one. Well, I understand the fact that it is very hard to convince someone from the service especially in the government to shred out some budget for the fulfillment of the local riders. It’s a big money talk which will take a very long period of decision making and planning. But everyone, especially me since I am a newbie, is very hopeful that someday our dreams will soon rise and hammer down a change in the system.

Reviving the BMX Scene

I just visited the forum that I used to source out for useful information for my current project build. I felt so happy in behalf of the members of the thread because I can really see the development of the enthusiastic individuals in our place. More and more people are getting to know the extreme fun in BMX biking. I have read several posts from there and there are a lot of newbie’s like me who ask for help of how can they start and get into the sport. Gladly there are friendly experts who shared their knowledge without discrimination.

Think Twice Before Doing This

I always saw this video every time I hang on at YouTube. It’s quite amazing to analyze how this rider flew freely up in the air with the bike. I was a big fan of this extreme sporting ever since but I am still thinking of trying it. Though I have the bike and the basic knowledge on this, I am still thinking twice about that because it’s dangerous to bare those airlifts and cool tricks.

Rock Climbing

Some of my late few friends were trying to influence me to do rock climbing. These bunch of pretty fats guys are very enthusiastic to share with me their past adventures last month. According to one of them whom we usually call “Bert” as his nickname, the trials are really fine and since I love extreme sports maybe I should try this one out. He said that maybe next week they will have another adventure again. I was half amazed of what they have said to me but I guess I won’t be there because I need to trim my expenses to fix my current build. Anyway they promised to let me borrow some of their materials needed to do the job. It was pretty cool! So, now the only concern will be the schedule that I have during that day. I’m trying to make it happen because it’s first time in my history to try this kind of extreme adventure.

Street Luge

Talking about extreme sports, I think this one will do. Street luge is one of the famous extreme sports. I think it is a byproduct of the first two sports which are the skateboarding and longboarding. It’s somehow similar because there are certain parts of the street luge equipment that is the same as what a skateboard or longboard has. The different is that in street luge the rider lies on the equipment while in skateboards or longboards the skater doest the riding in a standing position. But totally I know that being into these kinds of activities is much better than any other.

One of the Best

This is one of the best BMX videos that I have seen before. The extreme sports of BMX biking is really cool and awesome. Though it has a lot of danger but it is a big part of any sports wherein one needs to experience failures to attain more knowledge. With all those fascinating tricks and maneuvers, these kind of extreme sports has been a huge ground for everyone who’s looking for different rush.

The Skateboard Legend

I love this video so much! This is the first skateboard video that I viewed which grabbed my interest and made me buy a skateboard for myself. The man on this video was Rodney Mullen who was known for his great contributions in the world of skateboarding. He was credited because of his famous skateboard tricks. According to my friend who has been skating for almost 7 years, Mullen has invented 30 skateboard tricks which include the famous ones such as the kickflips which was earlier called as magic flip. My friend who has been into this kind of sport is an avid follower of Rodney Mullen and he’s doing lot things just to imitate the power moves of his idol. Anyways Berilac of YouTube did a great upload on this. Thanks a lot!!!

Extreme Passion for Extreme Sports

Filed under: Personal,Relationships,Sports World,Treats & Traits — Sparkle @ 1:27 pm, April 1, 2010.

I am a big fan of powerful sports such as the most extreme ones. I always wanted to engage into the extreme world of BMX riding, skateboarding, and the other kinds. I have tried BMX and it was really great. I found my enthusiasm in that kind of sport. Although I wasn’t joining a competition and I just do it for the purpose of hobby but it’s a kind of self satisfaction. After that I got some interest about skateboarding. And so I purchased a cheaper kind of skateboard in which it served as a starter kit for me. I learned several simple tricks from it and I even encouraged my cousins to try. But sadly, they suffered a lot of pain and one of them got a severe fever after he got a very hard fall on the ground because he failed to maintain his balance on the board. After that I started to get busy because I was about to work in a company as a student trainee.
