Last month I registered an account in a forum site to take part in the conversations. Well, I was really amazed of the guys there because of their helpfulness. I bookmarked the latest page of the thread and it was really progressing. By the way, I was talking about the forum about BMX bikes and the bikers in our place. The people there are absolutely doing great in spreading the BMX fever and there they talk about several bike topics especially with in terms of parts, distributors, nearest dealers, and basic help for beginners like me. I hope it will improve more in the coming days and also I hope that I will have my own rig soon, so that I can ride with them in their weekly sessions.
Well, extreme sports have been always my dream. I see it as a big challenging sport and I am craving to experience the different thrill. I am particular with BMX riding and mountain bike as well. Aside from the thrill, I am also up to the nice looking bike which looks extremely terrible. When can I have my own rig?

One of the requirements in getting into any extreme games is the shoes. It is one of the important safety wears that everyone must put on before the game starts. Of course it’s for the main purpose of not putting any life into risk. Well this video above is an example of a BMX rider trying to ride without shoes on his feet; kinda hard to imagine the pain he must be feeling on his sole. Well, we know it’s for fun!
I’ve been always doing daily viewing of various BMX videos over YouTube just to be directed of a clearer understanding towards this kind of interest. Just like this video which I found under the channel of StolenProductionz broadcasted over YouTube. It’s a bike check wherein the owner or the rider does something like introducing his ride and giving out the specs of it. It’s a lot useful for people like me planning to get into BMX riding.
A friend of mine who shared the same passion with me when talking about sports asked me to help him fulfill his plan for our sports here in our place. It was about his plans to make a formal spot for BMX bikers like us. Though I don’t have the equipment for the sport but I am halfway to owning a bike for that certain purpose. He said that he has a spot right at their backyard and it is spacious enough to build some ramps, rails, or any other obstacles that we need to have for our sessions. Now we were still trying to fix the schedule because he’s a bit busy with his work schedules but hopefully by next week, we could start working for it.
I remembered this person playing skateboard along the street near our place. He was actually my schoolmate recently but he was still a freshmen. I knew him very much because I’ve been an annoying skater somehow in the past. We sometimes go together for a practice because I believe that I could learn more things from him. He was really a nice person because he shared a lot of secrets on various tricks that he knows.
But know, I saw him in a new ride. I guess he shifted to another dimension of extreme sports. I was out in the nearest corner of our place that time when I saw him riding his new mountain bike. It was a trial bike. Like me, maybe he also has shifted to that type of sporting. He may be found it very satisfying because as I saw him on his dirty bike, I am pretty sure that he’s from the dirt track.
Last Saturday, I was trying to catch the moment that I was so excited of. My online buddies told me that they were about to have a demo in a spot nearest to our place. I tried to be there on the place and luckily I was able to see them live. But I was still boarding a jeepney that time because my primary cause for being there was to go to the mall since I have to buy sometime very important. After I finished my purchase I went running towards the spot where I saw them an hour ago. But, I was too late to make it and there were no one out there. I was kinda feeling so downed and sad but still I was lucky to see them doing their bike tricks live, though it was too short or should I say sneak peek of the whole show.
I just visited the Cebu BMX forum on istorya.net and a surprising new post set me up on a very shocking moment. I was invited to attend the bikers meet possibly happening this next week. I don’t know what to do but he just told me to bring whatever bike I have. But I was feeling kinda scared with a bit of shame because I don’t really have a good bike since I am still building it right now. I don’t know what to do with this but I hope I could fix my mountain bike as soon as possible, just to be presentable. These people owns top of the line bikes which in fact is packed with imported parts. I just hope that I could bear some confidence to bring up my nasty bike on the spot. Well, they said it that I could bring any type of bike, so be it.
Back to the extreme world that I always want to dare. I felt sympathy together with the local rider in our town. Most of them were trying to find a better spots wherein they could enjoy riding with their bikes but according to them there were no budgets intended for such sports. Most of the riders that I know seeks for sponsors but can’t find even one. Well, I understand the fact that it is very hard to convince someone from the service especially in the government to shred out some budget for the fulfillment of the local riders. It’s a big money talk which will take a very long period of decision making and planning. But everyone, especially me since I am a newbie, is very hopeful that someday our dreams will soon rise and hammer down a change in the system.
I just visited the forum that I used to source out for useful information for my current project build. I felt so happy in behalf of the members of the thread because I can really see the development of the enthusiastic individuals in our place. More and more people are getting to know the extreme fun in BMX biking. I have read several posts from there and there are a lot of newbie’s like me who ask for help of how can they start and get into the sport. Gladly there are friendly experts who shared their knowledge without discrimination.
