Throughout my life I’ve never ever seen someone in here having a computer being cooled by liquid system. But, last Saturday when I visited a computer shop in a mall I saw this small cube in the middle of that particular floor of that building. I believe that the people there were computer repair techs because they have a lot of spare parts for desktops and laptop computers. Now, as I was approaching to them I noticed that there’s something attached at the back of the PC placed above the glass cabinet. I felt curious about it and so I tried to turn around their cube and have a clear look at the rear portion of the PC. It was actually a liquid cooling system particularly the radiator unit that was mounted on that rear part of the PC. That was the first computer that I saw here in our place which uses liquid cooling system. I’m not so sure about taking a picture of that PC because it might not be allowed. So, I just watch over it and be amazed of the build.
Due to the financial problems that I encountered in the past few months, the projects that I was supposed to finish within this year will no longer be going. It was really hard to focus with it when something really needs much more attention. Well, perhaps it would be continued when everything is in place again and there would be much free space for me to think of it.
Last month I registered an account in a forum site to take part in the conversations. Well, I was really amazed of the guys there because of their helpfulness. I bookmarked the latest page of the thread and it was really progressing. By the way, I was talking about the forum about BMX bikes and the bikers in our place. The people there are absolutely doing great in spreading the BMX fever and there they talk about several bike topics especially with in terms of parts, distributors, nearest dealers, and basic help for beginners like me. I hope it will improve more in the coming days and also I hope that I will have my own rig soon, so that I can ride with them in their weekly sessions.
I got this video over the YouTube channel of auroraboreal while I was doing some online video surfing. Actual, I was on the search for bikes and extreme video as what I usually do but this one is quite interesting. Well, it’s an educational video about the manufacturing process of the bearing which, actually, is a major component of any other bikes. I learned something good from this video and I hope you do.
Too much of the bikes! Until now I haven’t had a single fully build bike. It was really hard to do it but I won’t give it up. Instead, it gave me the strong passion and determination to pursue what I have started. I know it means budget but the more it gives me challenge to get to the line.
Today I found a bit of extra time after I performed my daily duties towards my sites. So I was able to spend some hours digging down information on the online forums. I’ve been to this activity due to the reason that I want to learn more things. In forums there is an active response that I could get from the members especially that during these recent days I am trying to fix my bikes. I really need the help of some enthusiast online.
Yesterday I was working on with my recently announced project. Yes, the bicycles of my father that was left unused for a long time. I want to restore it that’s why I always do a week check on it. What I did yesterday was I disassemble the road bike for it to be cleaned. I remove everything except for the fork, handle bar, and the stem. It was too stiff and the bolts can’t be screwed out of the holes because of the rust. I don’t have any other choice but to destroy these parts by sawing. Anyway, I would not use this in the future because the only thing that I am up on these bikes is just the frames. Most of these have a very rock solid frame structure so I won’t waste this one and also it’s antique, as I have said in the previous post.
Recently I talked with my father about our plans for the bikes that we have in our house. As far as I could remember, we have about four frames; two for mountain bikes, one for a road bike, and another one for a BMX. I have featured the BMX frame once in this site. We were planning to restore everything so that if ever we want to go biking we could choose among those bikes. We are also planning to make it one of our few collections. Those frames except the BMX are much older than me so it is an antique item. As of now we were still gathering some budget to kick off this project.
I went strolling downtown today after I got my money from the ATM machine. As usual, what I did is search for new spots wherein there is a new bike shop. I am always seeking for top of the line bicycle parts around the place because of my passion for it. But with that I felt unlucky because I didn’t find even a single store which caters specialized bicycle parts. Most of the store that we have here in our place doesn’t have those parts that I am looking to form and build my BMX bike. But I am too much hopeful that someday there will be one stop shop here in our city.
I found several problems with my ongoing project. I have mentioned it earlier that I will pursue my goal which is to build a good BMX street set-up. But upon hearing from different people from the forum, I noticed that I might spend more time build my budget rather than my project. But I never felt it like discouragement but rather strength to work harder to get my goal as soon as possible.
